Lieutenant Jack Peck Jr.

Jack grew up in the Farmington area, and is a graduate of Mt. Blue High School in Farmington.  Jack then attended Southern Maine Technical College for Law Enforcement Technology.  In February of 1984, Jack was hired by the Cape Elizabeth Police Department, where he served as a patrolman.

In 1988, Jack moved back to Farmington and took a job with the Franklin County Sheriff's Department.  Jack started in corrections and was eventually elevated to a patrol deputy.

Jack was hired by the Town of Farmington in 1989. Since his hire, he has worked in several capacities.  Jack worked for approx. two years as an undercover police officer for the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency.  In 1994, Jack was promoted to Detective, in 1996 to Patrol Sergeant and in 1998 to his present position of Lieutenant.  Also during his tenure at the Farmington Police Department Jack has attended the Southern Maine Community College and has received an Associates Degree.

 

Jack received the distinction of Officer of the Year in 1997 and 2007, the only Farmington Police Department employee to receive this distinction twice.
