POLICE SERGEANT

The Farmington Police Department is looking for a highly motivated, community oriented fulltime police sergeant.  We offer a competitive salary and benefit package, including Maine Public Employees Retirement System 20 year/no age retirement plan.

Applicants should have at least five (5) years of full-time certified law enforcement experience with at least two (2) of those five (5) years in a supervisory role. Current full-time law enforcement certification is required, MCJA certification is preferred. Candidates will be required to pass a physical agility test, written sergeant’s exam, oral board, polygraph exam, medical physical exam, psychological test, and an extensive background check.
